What We Do
Sisterhood’s work touches every corner of Temple Concord and beyond. Throughout the year, we:
Support Our Students & Families
- Give gifts to B’Mitzvah and Confirmation students
- Support Religious School students and teachers
- Fund Temple Concord’s participation in PJ Library
Serve Our Community
- Create blessing bags for women’s shelters
- Provide Break-the-Fast preparations for Yom Kippur
- Purchase needed kitchen equipment for the Temple
Celebrate & Connect
- Host programs and events throughout the year
- Provide holiday gifts to Temple staff
- Build relationships and friendships among members
We’re also proud contributors to the Temple’s Capital Campaign and active members of the Federation of Women’s Clubs.
