From Tree of Life to L’dor vaDor
For many years, Temple Concord’s Tree of Life provided a meaningful way to commemorate simchas and support our congregation. Today, in keeping with national best practices across the Reform movement, we are evolving that tradition into an annual High Holy Day Appeal — a more immediate, impactful way to sustain Temple Concord’s mission, year after year.
Our new appeal, L’dor vaDor: Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future, reflects our congregation’s spirit and priorities — focusing on the here and now while laying the groundwork for a vibrant Jewish future. This shift allows every gift, large or small, to support the essential programs, clergy, and community connections that make Temple Concord a spiritual home for all who enter.
We honor the legacy of the Tree of Life. And together, we answer the call of the shofar — building a strong, inclusive, and joyful Temple Concord for the next generation.
